Application instructions
You can apply for compensation from the fund through the Iris online service or in writing. The application period is six months from the date of payment of the costs.
Applying online
First, sign up with the Iris online service. You can then make applications through the Iris service here: Iris service.
Applying in writing
You can either post a written application or bring it in person to the insurance fund.
Include the following:
- cost-related documents
- if you are applying for compensation for the first time or your information has changed, fill in the application form.
You cannot apply for compensation by e-mail.
Compensation Decisions
Compensation decisions regarding the fund’s benefits can be viewed in the Iris-service under Reports -tab. The decision includes instructions for filing an appeal.
If you do not use the Iris-service, you may request the compensation decision separately from the fund.
